All of our beef comes from our home-grown herd of South Devon Cattle. The cattle spend their lives on the Red Down in the summer grazing the lush grass and herbal lays that add flavour to the meat as well as diversification to the natural habitat. When they are housed in the winter, they continue to be fed grass in the form of silage and whole-crop that is harvested in the summer and stored for winter-feeding.

Rolled Rib – £35/kg

The King of Roasts, a rolled rib of beef is a boneless joint from the fore rib known for its marbling, tenderness and full-on flavour. A luxurious choice for those special Sunday lunches – sear and then slow cook for juicy results.


Rib on the Bone – £30/kg

A joint of rib on the bone delivers exceptional tenderness and juiciness owing to its generous marbling and natural fat covering. The presence of the bone adds an extra depth of flavour through the roasting process.

Perfect for special occasions, the bone-in rib joint makes for a stunning centre piece.


Top Rump – £28/kg

Top rump, also known as thick flank, is a leaner joint perfect for roasting at a high heat initially before cooking to your desired finish at a lower temperature. To get the best out of your top rump joint, ensure it’s rested for at least 20 minutes before carving.


Boxeater – £20/kg

A traditional Cornish cut of beef taken from the shoulder area, the boxeater is prized for its rich flavour. Similar to a brisket, this cut becomes beautifully tender when treated to a low, slow cook making it a favourite for Sunday roasts and hearty family meals.


Topside – £20/kg

A traditional Sunday favourite, topside is a lean cut from the hind leg. Suitable for both slow-cooking or roasting it is the ideal joint for a busy family. When thinly-sliced it is perfect for roast beef sandwiches.


Brisket – £16/kg

Perfect for a long slow cook either for a Sunday roast served up with a tasty array of vegetables or pulled apart and served in buns for a fun family meal.

Steaks

Perfect for a date-night special or for a popping on the barbecue on a sunny afternoon with friends, steaks make the perfect beefy treat!

Fillet Steak – £55/kg

Naturally lean and beautifully tender, the fillet is the finest cut you can buy. With its buttery flavour and delicate texture fillet steak offers you the ultimate melt-in-the-mouth experience.

Beautiful grilled, pan-fried and butter-basted, or wrapped up in a beef wellington parcel; fillet steak delivers indulgence in abundance.

Sirloin Steak – £32/kg

Cut from the rear, between the ribs and the rump, the sirloin is a lean cut with a great balance of texture and flavour. Due to coming from muscles that do less work, sirloin steaks have less marbling than a rib eye but still offer both juiciness and depth of taste.

Versatile and easy to cook, sirloin is best cooked at a high temperature. Sliced thinly, this popular cut is an excellent choice for stir-fry dishes.

Ribeye Steak – £32/kg

A cut with rich, succulent flavour renowned for its marbling which melts during the cooking process leading to a deliciously tender and juicy offering.

A favourite among steak lovers, it can be grilled, pan-seared or, for the ultimate experience, cooked over an open flame.

Rump Steak – £25/kg

Rump is a lean, flavourful cut from the hindquarter which offers a robust taste and a firm texture. A versatile option, it copes well with grilling or pan-searing so is the perfect choice for fajitas, kebabs and stir-fry dishes.

Minute Steak – £20/kg

Cut from the top rump, minute steak is a thin and tender cut of beef perfect for quick meals. Cooking in just a couple of minutes it’s great in steak sandwiches and stir-fries or for a lighter option enjoy it in a salad.

Flat Iron Steak – £20/kg

The flat iron cut is renowned for its tenderness and rich, beefy taste, making it a favourite among steak enthusiasts and chefs alike. Perfect for grilling or pan-searing, this versatile cut delivers juicy, savoury results every time.


Chef’s Selection

For the cooks amongst you, there’s something in here you’ll love – mince for a quick mid-week meal or diced beef for a slow-cooked beef stew – there’s a cut for everyone!

Diced Beef – £7.50 per 500g pack

A staple in hearty meals and ideal for a long slow cook. Our diced beef is full of flavour and makes perfect pies, sumptuous stews and comforting casseroles.

Beef Skirt – £7.50 per 500g pack

Traditionally used in Cornish pasties, beef skirt is a juicy, flavourful cut that is equally at home in a pie or a slow-cooked stew. It gets its name from the ‘pleated’ look of the muscle fibres in the cut.

Shin of Beef – £7.50 per 500g pack

Beef shin comes from the foreleg and is sold in large medallion-shaped pieces. Perfect for use in stews, the natural fibres of the meat render down during the cooking process to help naturally thicken the sauce.

Beef Mince – £7.50 per 500g pack

Gluten Free Beef Burgers – £7.00 per pack of 4

A year-round favourite, our burgers are great under the grill, in the air-fryer or for those Cornish summer barbecues. In a bun with cheese, or with a side salad for the lighter version; the possibilities are endless.

Beef Sausages (6 pack) – £13.00/kg

An alternative to a traditional pork sausage, our beef sausages are lightly seasoned and work perfectly in a toad in the hole or one of our family favourites; beef sausage and chorizo goulash.


Beef Saver Boxes

If you’d like to save some money and have space in your freezers, why not purchase one of our beef saver boxes. Fresh beef boxes will need to be pre-ordered for our next delivery date or get in touch to arrange collection or delivery of a frozen box.

5kg Saver Box – £80

Every box is different but you will receive a selection of joints, steaks and a mixture of mince, diced beef, skirt and shin.

10kg Saver Box – £150

Just like out 5kg box, our 10kg box contains joints and steaks as well as a range of items from our chef’s selection. A 10kg box is enough to fill two drawers of a standard upright freezer.
